At the annual general meeting of Consulegis EWIV at the end of April 2015 in Barcelona/Spain, Irmtraud Wendland from Cologne was elected chair of the 9-member advisory board. Julian Cockain-Barère (Toulouse/France) and Fernando Hernández Gómez (Guadalajara/Mexico) were elected vice-chairs. Their term in office is four years.
Ms Wendland’s law firm Junge, Schüngeler, Wendland in Cologne/Germany has been a member of CONSULEGIS EWIW since 1990; she was elected deputy chairwoman during the previous term of office.
Full-time managing director of Consulegis, Ms Anke Brauns (Munich/Germany), and Ms Wendland will form a dual female leadership in the coming four years – a first in the history of the network of lawyers.
