Posted on: 01 August 2012

Communicate, the providers of permanent and interim recruitment for mid to senior level professionals up to board level, has launched a non-core banking and financial services division, complementing established offerings in banking, finance, IT, treasury and tax.

Headed by new Director, Daley Pritchard, the non-core banking and financial services team will focus on the placement of junior management to CXO level professionals into investment banking, investment management, consulting and insurance industries. Their core capabilities will be in the £75,000-£250,000 permanent and £500-£1500 contract & interim space.

Pritchard joins Communicate having built and run successive start-up operations in risk management and technology, both in the UK and the Middle East. An expert in the provision of recruitment, market intelligence and consulting services to banking and financial institutions, he is a record breaking consultant who was the top UK biller in 2008. A Cambridge graduate, Pritchard is currently engaged in courses of study at LSE and The Institute of Risk Management.

Also joining Pritchard at Communicate are four new consultants.

Andrew Lillico joins Communicate’s banking and financial services desk from QBE Insurance, where he was Service Manager.

Qualified Barristers Stephen Doherty and Ruth Gunning also join Communicate in London, Doherty sitting with the tax team, Ruth commerce and industry.

And Communicate North has appointed Barnaby Lane, a former recruiter within the technical engineering space, to join Gary Chaplin in Manchester.

These appointments kick-start a recruitment drive for exceptional consultants across both London and Manchester offices.

Of his appointment, Pritchard comments, “Communicate has an excellent reputation for sourcing hard to find professionals and delivering outstanding people to many of the world’s best performing businesses, including over 80 of the FTSE 100. Joining the team not only as a Director but also as head of the new division provides an exciting opportunity for me to utilise – and further develop – the expertise I’ve gained to date. I look forward to building and growing the new non-core banking and financial services desk, further pushing Communicate’s offerings to the forefront of the industry.
