10 Black Friday Scraps That Will Put You Off It Forever
7. Black Friday TV Scrap
Grand opening of Asda 2014. The crowd is itching for the doors to part. “Whoa, whoa, whoa!” As soon as madness kicks in, folly ensues and several shoppers go straight for the wide screen TVs on the left, not even taking notice of what the price tag might be. After a royal rumble of wrestling between Norwich’s top heavyweight champions, some getting lucky and other being pushed out the circle, two blokes argue and tug over a single TV. They end up becoming great friends and heading to the cash desk together.
6. Black Friday Snatch
The immediate snatch of a Black Friday reduced item is what starts these kinds of wars. Here we see a little girl finally get her golden catch of the day, only to have it robbed right out of her hands by a responsible grown-up adult. The mother attempts to snatch it back but to no avail, as like a top-notch rugby player the Black Friday thief curls round her and tries her escape. “Get off of me!!.. You’re scaring me!” can be heard in a frightful voice, as the little girl stands and watches her mother brawl a stranger, conveying the true fear of violence that comes with Black Friday.
5. Black Friday Tesco Chaos
Tesco UK, 2014. This one is a true representation of the chaos that the UK has naturally adopted as part of retail evolution through the years. In almost two minutes’ time, Tesco’s epic Black Friday deals are cause for some pretty maniac push n’ shoving. Staff are giving raised voice instructions to complainants, tug of wars are happening left right and centre despite the fact there are other TVs still readily available right there. Some people are even climbing on the displays to get to the prize. The escalators slowly get abused as a new-found avenue to the TV deal, but the public is soon made aware by staff that that’s a little cheeky, and they should go around.
