4. Black Friday Worldstar!

Like a tug of war, these two Tesco ladies, out for a good deal, end up fighting over an unidentifiable bargain purchase, and within seconds player 1 has her fists out, laying into player 2. Luckily other shoppers quickly get involved and stop the situation from escalating further. After a short recess, the players reengage with player 1 holding the lead. “Worldstar!” Bystanders are scared and some people are quick to remove themselves from the madness. Black Friday clearly involves preparing your mind for very stressful situations like this.

3. Black Friday Shocker-Holics

Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia, 2013. Two shoppers are engaged in a slapping contest and neither really asserts themselves as the ultimate slapper, but as the two ladies brawl to the floor, this Black Friday fight takes a shocking turn; one of them pulls out a taser. An electric twist to this Black Friday drama, as this shopping mall witnesses full-fledged self-defence tactics. The taser is dropped, and picked up by a new owner, gets used a few times, and finally stomped at the end as the new e-hit rages in astonishment at the use of a taser.

2. Black Friday Mall Punch-up

Modesto, California 2016. This video is pretty inaudible given the censored swearing, but the violence is some of the worst seen on Black Friday, and for what appears to be no reason whatsoever. Three scraps seem to be going on at the same time in a small local shopping mall. Ruthless punching and kicking, combat rolling and flips make me want to never hit Black Friday in the US, ever. After calling a pile-on and two guys playing a rather violent game of tig, there doesn’t really seem to be a victor. Violence like this should never take place outside of the ring, and Black Friday should not be considered an excuse to fist-fight.
