DATAx presents the next instalment of their global series of data driven festivals, DATAx San Francisco, featuring100 speakers & 450 Innovators across 5 stages, following on from the success of their pilot festival in New York last December and the second series in Singapore this March.

Chris Clarke, Head of Events at DATAx Singapore organisers Innovation Enterprise, remarked: “DATAx Singapore has brought 500 multidiscipline data scientists from across the APAC region to share challenges and work together to push data science forwards through intra-industry collaboration. “Real-life practitioners from Visa, Axiata, World Vision and American Express have been sharing their ground-breaking success stories and we are delighted that DATAx is continuing to shape the data science community.”

The total impact of AI for business remains a looming question for many companies; DATAx aims to remedy this uncertainty by preparing business leaders to address topics like machine learning, analytics, data talent and big data.

Global consulting group McKinsey estimates that 70% of businesses are expected to rely on AI to automate functions by 2030, adding $13 trillion growth to the global economy. Contrary to popular belief, the World Economic Forum has stated that the shifting dynamics between machines and humans will add an estimated 133 million new roles to the workforce.

With a worldwide community feeding into the series, DATAx remains dedicated to connecting delegates with the latest research, cutting-edge technology and the hottest startups to share highlights and breakthroughs in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science reshaping the world.

In 8 weeks’ time, more than 500 engaged data community members will gather together on May to celebrate the latest instalment of the global series of data-driven festivals, DATAx San Francisco, with the theme “Data Science in the Real World”. With distinct tracks set around machine learning, healthcare, gaming analytics, marketing and data leadership, DATAx San Francisco will curate the latest thinking in artificial intelligence and data science to shape the future of San Francisco’s booming data sector, with a combination of deep, technical demonstrations and practical advice for data strategy.

DATAx San Francisco will cover the most critical data solutions and valuable business practices, and included leading brands such as Google, Microsoft, PlayStation, Reddit, Hinge, Bloomberg, Warner Bros, Oracle, Facebook, Paypal, LinkedIn, Uber and many more. With more than 30 hours of unrivalled content covering topics from machine learning and data analytics, to automation and the cloud, those in attendance learned about cutting-edge technologies and the latest data solutions being implemented at businesses around the globe.

Luke Bilton, Managing Director of Innovation Enterprise, commented: “While AI has now become a real opportunity, it also brings real ‘survival of the fittest’ challenges – only fast-moving businesses are most likely to succeed. “DATAx is a new style of event, designed to arm early adopters with the tools they need to move fast. We are excited to welcome the world’s most innovative brands and partners to build something unique.”
