In recent weeks, entrepreneur and media producer Marco Robinson, in response to various claims, released a number of verified legal documents and court records confirming that no judge has ever found him guilty of fraud, dishonesty, misrepresentation, or any wrongdoing. These were issued via Marco’s legal representation, Atticus Law.

The legal clarification Marco released was provided in response to what he describes as a “sustained harassment campaign” in recent months by media outlets and certain individuals who have attempted to damage his reputation.

Marco Robinson’s journey is well known to those who have followed his work over the years. Marco, hailing from Manchester in the UK, has risen from childhood homelessness and troubled periods of schooling, to building a multibillion-dollar sales organisation in Asia, and later expanding into film and entrepreneurship with projects such as Lionsgate’s Legacy of Lies movie (with actor Scott Adkins) and the Start Over Movement he has led, which is focused on coaching and personal development.

After a year of targeted harassment, Marco moved to publicly resolve the matter on 14 November 2025 with a series of legal evidence. This included a detailed letter of legal confirmation from Atticus Law (Marco’s legal representative) stating that there were never any findings of fraud or dishonesty against Marco, which had been alleged in correspondence that was being sent to his clients and in a select media outlet. A police letter was also shared on his website.

INKL spoke to Marco Robinson, where we discussed recent events and their reflection on resilience in business, and how the ordeal strengthened his focus on building systems that withstand pressure. The article explores what leaders can learn from sustaining a business, reputation, and personal stability under pressure.

The Harassment Campaign and Its Resolution

Marco Robinson states that he was subjected to a year-long harassment campaign involving people alluding to false allegations and sending targeted emails to his clients that spread falsities about his businesses, services, and expertise. He explained that he had, at one point, to formally report the matter to the police in the UK under harassment conditions.

After instructing a legal firm, Marco Robinson’s legal representation, Aticus Law, confirmed that in relation to the allegations, every civil matter connected to these online claims was resolved, refunded, and closed, with no criminality ever found. They also confirmed that there were no findings of fraud, which had been alleged, and that all matters were contractual. Marco Robinson told INKL that the nature of the ordeal and events amounted to “competitor sabotage” against some of his coaching operations.

When asked how he felt and dealt with the recent events, Marco shared with INKL that challenges like these pushed him to reinvent himself, which he says echoes his earlier turnaround of Tanco—from a £10 million loss to $1 billion in sales. He said to INKL, “They attacked my conviction, so I had to double down on process, proof, and logical thinking.”

Marco Robinson on Rebuilding Focus and Professional Systems During Challenge

Given the recent ordeal, Robinson told INKL that he followed what he has always done, which is ensuring a strong process of documentation and clarity during periods of uncertainty and challenge (whether personally or in business, and in this case, it affected both). He said this is the cornerstone to being resilient and leading resiliently in periods of significant challenge.

He told INKL that his career has been built primarily on an operating principle he developed early on in his sales roles, which helped him navigate uncertainty: Decide, Act, Refine, Repeat. He said this is the system he has used for decades to create momentum and turn his business ideas into scalable results. Marco Robinson said he has applied it consistently across the industries and ventures he has operated in to become an award winning entrepreneur, including receiving 3x Two Comma Club Winner accolades for sales he has generated.

  • Tanco Resorts (1997–2002): Marco Robinson rebuilt the points-based model from the ground up, helping drive a record $250M in initial sales, and then close to a zenith of a billion dollars in sales, supporting an ultimate ten-figure, billion-pound valuation
  • NKD Restaurant: NKD Restaurant: Marco Robinson created the NAKED Group of Companies, which included founding NAKED Restaurant & Bar alongside other successful ventures in food and hospitality. In its first year, NAKED Restaurant generated a £1.5 million turnover and a £220,000 profit and was later named “Tatler’s Best Restaurant” in 2015 as part of the Tatler Asia Awards.
  • Channel 4 Show “Get a House for Free”: Marco’s background in property investment saw him front the prime-time Channel 4 show Get a House for Free, where he personally offered to give away a three-bedroom flat in Preston worth about £120,000 to someone in need. The programme followed him as he reviewed more than 8,000 applications to choose a recipient, blending his property-investment background with a philanthropic, reality-TV format.
  • MARCO AI: Today, Marco says he is transforming his 35 years of experience into a “digital mentor” AI application designed for other coaches, founders, and digital creators. MARCO AI captures his business strategy methodology and “makes it usable, teachable, and repeatable at scale.” Much of the content within the AI app draws on similar insights to the books he has published, namely Start Over: Turn Any Loss Into a Sensational Comeback and Close the Deal and Suddenly Grow Reach, and The Financial Freedom Guarantee".

It is with the Decide, Act, Refine, Repeat formula, that Marco says he has help build six-figure personal brands for many of his clients and partners in the industries he operates in.

Lessons for Leaders

Marco says that the recent experience reinforced many key leadership lessons.

He states these as:

  • The importance of separating facts from noise through verifiable documentation,
  • Sustaining operational focus even during reputational strain
  • Engaging legal channels early to establish clarity.

He emphasised to INKL the value of consistent stakeholder communication during crisis, challenge, or steep targets, and the need for leaders to really understand competitive dynamics.

Given recent experience, Marco Robinson particularly emphasized understanding contractual obligations in the relationships you forge and non-compete conflicts, that can shape challenges as Marco has experienced recently. "Take a strong understanding on the commercial relationships you sign with".
